Nutrition Awareness Session at TCF College

In partnership with The Citizens Foundation (TCF)

We recently held a nutrition awareness session at TCF College, in partnership with The Citizens Foundation (TCF), one of Pakistan's largest education networks. Students learned about balanced diets and micronutrients alongside our daily meal program. Below, NourishED Welfare Trust President Ali Tahir, TCF's Head of College, and a nutritionist from Indus Hospital share what the session meant for the students.

A Month of Growth, Innovation & Impact

Dear Friends and Supporters, We hope you and your family are in good health and spirits. Thanks to your continued support, NourishED has now served 200,000+ nutritious meals to school-going children. What began as a simple mission has grown into a movement that is improving lives, strengthening communities, and creating brighter futures — one meal at a time. ### June 2026 at a glance - 14,105 meals served in June - 1,123 students supported - 201,911+ meals served to date ### A major milestone for NourishED We are pleased to announce the expansion of our partnership with The Citizens Foundation (TCF). We will be launching a new Fruit & Milk Pilot Program at TCF School Qayyumabad this August, reaching 2,000+ students from this project and 3,000+ overall — another important step toward improving child nutrition and supporting better educational outcomes. ### Investing in better systems for greater impact This month, Ali Tahir, President of NourishED Welfare Trust, visited Indus Hospital with our team to learn from one of Pakistan's most advanced food service operations — including a central kitchen preparing almost 2,500 meals daily, and a new facility set to become one of the largest food production kitchens in Pakistan. We observed best practices in kitchen design, workflow, food safety, storage, and meal distribution that will guide our future expansion. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Anis Alam and the entire Indus Hospital team. ### Our NourishED delivery van is on the road Our dedicated NourishED delivery van has officially begun delivering meals to our partner schools — strengthening our ability to transport meals efficiently while maintaining better quality control and reliability, and supporting our future expansion into more schools. ### Strengthening our partnership with TCF College President Ali Tahir visited TCF College alongside consultant nutritionist Mr. Anis Alam to observe our Food Support Program firsthand and discuss how operational expertise can further strengthen NourishED. See highlights from our TCF College visit. Thank you — whether you have donated, shared our mission, volunteered your time, or kept us in your prayers, you are an important part of every meal we serve. Warm regards, Khurram Ismail President, NourishED Education Inc.

Learning from the World's Best to Nourish Pakistan's Future

Dear Supporters, Every day, thousands of children across Pakistan arrive at school hungry, making it harder to focus, learn, and reach their full potential. Around the world, school meal programs have proven that nutritious meals improve health, attendance, and learning outcomes. Thanks to your support, NourishED is bringing these solutions to the children who need them most. ### May 2026 at a glance - 6,667 meals served in May - 1,004 students supported - 187,806+ meals served to date ### A global problem with proven solutions More than 466 million children worldwide receive school meals every day. From Japan and South Korea to India and Brazil, the world's most successful programs follow a similar approach: a balanced meal with a staple, protein, fruits or vegetables, and nutrition education. In Pakistan — where nearly 38% of children under five suffer from stunting — these lessons matter more than ever. ### A global approach to better nutrition - Japan — nutritious meals paired with healthy-eating education - China — daily egg and milk included in school meals - India — balanced meals using local ingredients at scale - NourishED — balanced meals featuring fruits, milk, protein-rich foods, and locally prepared dishes ### Global lessons, real impact "Before I started receiving fruits and milk at school, I used to get really bad headaches. Since joining the program, those headaches have stopped, and I feel healthier and stronger every day. I enjoy coming to school, learning new things, and spending time with my friends. Thank you to everyone who helps make this possible." — Zeeshan, Class 5, Suno Samjho Seekho School, Mehran Town ### What's next for NourishED - 2 more schools, bringing our total to 5 Food Support Programs - Opportunity to support 2,000+ students, making an even bigger impact Our vision is a future where no child has to learn on an empty stomach. Thank you for standing with us on this mission. May Allah accept your generosity and make it a source of lasting reward and barakah. Warm regards, Khurram Ismail President, NourishED Education Inc.

Eid Mubarak — and 11,754 Reasons to Celebrate

Assalam-u-Alaikum, and Eid Mubarak to everyone who has been supporting NourishED and its cause. Every meal served, every child fed, and every classroom energized this month happened because of you. ### April 2026 at a glance - 11,754 meals served in April - 1,002 students supported - 186,842+ meals served to date ### Where your support went Across our three active school programs — Mehran Town School, TCF College, and the Library of Ibrahim Goth Food Support Program — NourishED served 11,754 nutritious meals in April, bringing our 2026 total to 51,469 meals. Every tray of food is a small promise kept to a child who showed up hungry to learn. ### A story from Mehran Town School "Before my children started at the school, my heart was always heavy with worry. One of my children was incredibly weak, suffering from a severe infection and a dangerously low blood count. Since they started at Mehran Town School, they receive proper food and proper care exactly on time — Alhamdulillah, the blood deficiency is gone and my child is a lot healthier than before. Now, my children are eager to come to school every single day." — Mother of Muhammad Afridi and Muhammad Hassan ### What's next - Partnering with 2 more schools — 5 Food Support Programs in total - Opportunity to reach 2,000+ students The blessed days of Eid al-Adha are among the most rewarding times for kindness, charity, and sacrifice. If you can, please consider giving again this month — every contribution becomes a real meal for a real child. Thank you for believing in this work and for showing up, month after month. May Allah reward every act of kindness. Warm regards, Khurram Ismail President, NourishED Education Inc.
